There are several hotels located near our vacation properties that offer daily admission for a small fee. Desert Hot Springs Hotel allows access to 8 of their mineral water pools, sauna, locker rooms and spa for $3.00 to $8.00 a day per person. This does not include spa services which can be purchased separately.Sea Mountain Spa and Resort right near by as well offers daily access for $99.00 per couple (this includes lunch and all you can drink beverages and alcoholic drinks. Ambassodor Hotel & Spa also offers daily admission to their mineral water pools for $5.00 per day. Most other hotels and resorts in desert hot springs also offer day pool access for a fee. typically ranging from $18.00 to $50.00 per person a day. Free with use of spa services.

we highly recommend consulting with your doctor before using hot mineral water as part of your treatment. individuals with certain conditions such as hear disease should avoid bathing in hot mineral water. we do not suggest or endorse any therapy or service. Miracle Resort and Spa offers two restaurants with American cuisine. Desert Hot Springs Hotel also offers a café with American cuisine. Mission Lakes country club has a restaurant with upscale American cosine as well. There is a 7-eleven 2 blocks away from the the San Diego Dr House.

One of our vacation homes is located next to Mission Lakes Country Club is one of the most premiere desert golf courses in desert hot springs and palm springs area. What skiing is to Aspen and gambling is to Las Vegas, Golf is to Palm Springs. With over a hundred Golf Courses and tournaments (Skins Game, Nabisco Dinah Shore), Palm Springs and its surrounding desert cities are the Golf Capitol of the World!

Best Shopping Area is South Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. Palm Canyon Drive is a veritable goldmine of art galleries, restaurants, pubs and every kind of shop. Thursday nights are a must when the street is closed to traffic. And El Paseo in Palm Desert. Cabazon outlets located about 25 minutes before Desert Hot Springs and Palm Sprngs area is one of the largest shopping outlet centers in Southern California.

Rising nearly vertically 9,000 feet beside Palm Springs, it is one of the steepest climbs in North America and the reason why the rain (and pollution) in Los Angeles can’t get here!

Our luxury vacation homes and villas are about 1.5 to 2 hours drive from any part of greater los angeles area.

in winter time San Jacinto mountains accessible by Palm Springs Tram offer skiing and snowboarding trails filled with freshly packed snow. Big Bear mountain resort and Parts of Joshua Tree National Park about 35 minute drive away offer excellent opportunities to have fun in the snow.

Two of our properties are located 10 to 12 minutes from palm springs and third vacation house next to mission lake country club is 15 minutes away.

Reservations may be placed up to one year in advance.

YES! Although it may be difficult during the high season, it never hurts to contact us at the last minute, as there may still be some available properties due to recent cancellations, the addition of new rental properties, etc

all of our prices quoted are for occupancy of 6 guests/people. There is additional charge for additional guests/persons staying at the property, up to number of guests/people "maximum occupancy" that has been established for each rental property (includes adults and all children). Maximum occupancy is typically 10 people per home. If additional persons are found using or attempting to use the premises, tenant and guests may be evicted immediately from the premises without the benefit of a refund. Any additional guests beyond 6 staying in the vacation home are subject to additional charges, ranging from $10 to $30 per night depending on length of stay.

Once the vacation rental fees have been paid in full, the tenant will receive an email containing the telephone number of our House Keeper. The email will also contain the passcode to enter your vacation home (there are no keys needed). This passcode is changed frequently. Please contact our housekeeper at least one day before check-in to schedule the check-in. The housekeeper will check you in and show you how to use all the home appliances and features. Upon scheduled departure, and upon your request our housekeeper will meet you at the home to conduct brief inspection. Please allow a minimum of 15 minutes for this procedure.

Yes, $500.00 security deposit is required for renting any of our vacation homes, to be paid by check, cash, or pay pal. Security deposit is refundable provided for there is no damaged, lost, or stolen items are identified consequent to your stay. If any item is missing, stolen, broken or damaged in any way, you will be responsible for the value of the item(s). It is the guests/occupants responsibility to report any existing damage to the housekeeper or home owner. If there is any existing damage upon your check-in, you must notify us within 3 hours of your check-in by calling our office at 661-305-8562.

All security deposits are refunded within 1 week of your stay.

Our preferred method of payment is cash, check, pay pal. We can also accept major credit cards such as visa, maser card & american express. There will an additional processing fee of 3% if paying by credit card.

Renters must be of 25 years of age or older to rent one of our properties. At times some exceptions to this rule may be made at owners discretion. In this cases higher security deposit may be required, and additional processing fee may be applied.

No, absolutely there are no parties are permitted. If there is evidence of a party, additional guests other than those listed in vacation rental agreement, excessive noise, music, or illegal activity. Guest will be asked to vacate the premises, no refund given, and a security deposit will be forfeited. There will be an additional charge if cleaning, replacement cost of broken items, and repairs are required resulting from violation of this policy.

Yes, Pets (small dogs below 20 lbs in weight) are welcome in most of our desert hot springs vacation rentals. If you plan to bring a pet, please confirm that the home you are inquiring about will accept them. Extra pet security deposit will be required. Typically this is $250 refundable security deposit. Additional night pet fee will be required for each pet. Typically this ranges from $10 to $30 per night, depending on length of stay.

You are required to clean after your pet. Additional cleaning fee may be assessed if additional cleaning is need after your pet.

Smoking is absolutely prohibited inside any of our vacation homes. You may smoke outside in smoking designated areas, and use ash tray. If there is any tobacco smell in the home or signs of smoking will result in forfeit of your deposit. Additional fee associated costs to rid the unit of smoke smell and damage.

Pool and Spa heating for Desert Hot Springs Villa is available for additional heating fee of $75.00 per day for short term stays (2 to 3 days).

Pool heating must be ordered in advance as the average pool takes up to 48 hours to heat up to 86 degrees. Pool temperature is set to 86 degrees and should not be changed by tenant or guests. If pool heating is adjusted upward an excessive pool heat additional fee may apply.

For weekly and longer stays, contact us for other rates on pool/spa heating. Please note, energy costs in Desert Hot Springs are among the highest in the US.

Yes, we highly recommend you do so. There are two types of vacation rental insurance that you can purchase.

One is vacation rental protection insurance for you, in case your plans change and you cannot make your vacation trip. The policy would reimburse you for all fees that are non refundable associated with your vacation rental and trip. Trip insurance offers you a relative peace of mind. Another insurance available for your vacation rental is Property Damage Protection. This will protect you in case you or someone in your party causes damage to the property. This Security Deposit Protection plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out.

If, during your stay at one of our Desert Hot Springs Vacation Homes, an Insured Person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3000. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Security Deposit Protection coverage are contained in the Certificate of Insurance or Insurance Policy. The Security Deposit Protection can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly the home owner of deserthotspringsvacations.com any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Security Deposit Protection.

all of our vacation rental rates are based on occupancy of 6 guests. Depending on your desired length of stay, discounts may be provided for fewer number of guests. This would depend on the season, availability and demand for that particular vacation home.

all of our homes are 4 bedroom, and can comfortably sleep 8 people. We may be able to accommodate up to two more guests. By providing blow up mattresses or fold out beds, at additional cost. In most cases we will not be able to accommodate more than 10 guests per home.

Yes, we offer incredible discounts for 30+ day stays. Please contact us to receive price quote. Usually it based on number of guests in your party, time of year, length of stay, and any other special accommodations you may require.

Unless the grill is properly and completely cleaned, it may cause infestation of rodents and insects from the desert nearby. Our goal is to keep each vacation home as clean as possible for your enjoyment. For this reason we dont recommend doing barbecues during your stay.

However to please the guests that really do want to do a barbecue, we can provide an outside barbecue grill for a small additional fee. This fee will go towards cleaning of the barbecue and its maintenance.

Yes, there is $100 cleaning fee per stay in any of our vacation homes. Up to 40% of the cleaning fee is refundable if the home is left in very clean and neat condition, similar to that is was received. It typically takes 3 to 4 hours to properly clean a 4 bedroom home. If the home was left in very clean condition, so the housekeeper has less work to do. Your efforts will be rewarded with partial refund of the cleaning fee indicated above.

All of our desert hot springs vacation homes and pools has either their own sparkling water pool & jacuzzi or acess to hotel or gated community sparkling (mineral water) pools & Jacuzzi's.

Desert Hot Springs Villa has its own sparkling (mineral water) pool & Jacuzzi. Desert Hot Springs Luxury Vacation Home, you can access 16 mineral water heated pools at the two hotels a block a way.

Mission Lakes Villa has acess to 5 community mineral water pools.

All of our homes regularly undergoe maintainance check up every month. All of our homes are realtively new (built within last 10 years and recently undergone complete remodeling, new appliances, and improvements. However, there is always a very small possibility something or somewhere can go wrong. If there is a problem with something, pleace call us right away. And we will send a maintaince person to fix it soon as possible.

Examples that are not guaranteed and will not warrant any refund or credit of rental monies include, but are not limited to: failure of AC or heat, pool-spa equipment/heater, appliances, electronics or cable TV, the home's systems or mechanical malfunctions, plumbing, Internet, construction taking place in the area, a home not decorated or appointed to your expectations, bad weather, condition of landscaping, or a neighborhood disturbance.

In the rare event of a mechanical malfunction, we will make every effort to resolve it as quickly as possible but there are no refunds or credits given.

The Mineral Water pools in Miracle Spring & Spa and Desert Hot Springs Hotel are always heated. Each one has a different tempreature from mild, warm, hot and extremly hot.

The 5 community pools in the Mission Lakes Villa gated community are not heated, but the jacuzzi's are heated.

Desert Hot Springs Villa has a private pool and jacuzzi. In Fall & Winter months we encourage you to purchase the pool/spa heating option. Because of cool desert nights pools get chilly quickly, even during Spring and Fall. We highly recommend pool heating for the months of October through May. This home is equipped with a pool heater. The pool heaters are powered by natural gas and are extremely costly to operate. The typical fee for pool heating is $75 per day, $350 per week.

For monthly rentals, guests pay actual gas and electric utilities rather than pool heating. We recommend heating pool to a comfortable temperature of 86-88 degrees and spa between 101-104 degrees.

There are no keys needed for any of our vacation homes. Each home has a password lock. One week before your arrival you will receive email with password combination that is set to activate at exact time of your check in and will expire immediately upon your check out. Its that easy.

all of our homes are located in nice neighborhood and nice/tourist side of twon. The area around our vacation homes is safe. Just in any town, please use caustion and your best judgement in dealing with strangers.

You can ren two vacation homes. We can provide a nice discount. Two of our vacation homes the Desert Hot Springs Luxury Home and Desert Hot Springs Villa are only about 3.5 blocks apart. And located near the best mineral water spas & hotels in town. We can accomondate large groups up 20 people.

Yes, we have wifi high speed internet in all of our homes for you to use fee of charge. The access password is in back of the modem.

we provide everything you need for cooking most meals in your vacation rental home. Including all pots, pans, knives, number of cooking utensils. As well as cups, dishes, wine glasses for at least 10 guests. As well as basic necessities such coffee maker, tea pot.

we do not supply tea, coffee, flower, etc. As each guest has their own preference on these items, many guests do not wish to share these items (when used by previous guests). Upon your request, these items can be supplied by our housekeeper when you arrive.

some homes have full spice rack, salt, sugar, and more. If you need something specific, please inquire upon your reservation and we will have it ready for you when you arrive.

Yes, pool/spa heating fee is $59.00 per night for stays of 1 to 4 nights.

it really does cost that much to heat it up. Depending on the temperature outside, it takes about 3 to 4 hours for the pool and spa to become warm and up to 12 hours to become hot. Sometimes even longer if its a cold day.

Upon confirmation of your booking, you will receive the phone number of our housekeeper and handyman. Please contact them regarding any issue or question during your stay. Our housekeeper and handyman live only few blocks away from our homes. And most of the time will be able to respond almost immediately. You can also reach the owner or owners representative of the vacation home you are renting any time by phone or email.

Yes, vacation rental agreement is required in order to rent one our homes. We use a Vacation Rental Agreement that is very similar to that provided by California Association of Realtor's. This is the most common vacation rental agreement used within State of California. And protects the interests of both parties.

Yes, each home is cleaned and sanitized by our housekeeper upon guests departure. Our housekeeper has over 10 years of experience in cleaning in the hotel & hospitality industry. About 4 hours is spend on cleaning inside and out. Vacuuming, dusting, floor moping, refrigerator, oven, microwave is cleaned after each guest. All used dishes and utensils and thoroughly washed and dried. All linens and bed sheets are washed and disinfected after each guest. We use the best nature friendly chemicals in the process to avoid the common "hotel smell" and make it easy for people suffering from allergies.
Furthermore, each home is inspected again for cleanness and functionality a day or few hours again before your arrival.

Our home with the pool and spa is cleaned and sanitized two times a week by a licensed and experienced pool man. Each home undergoes a monthly maintenance inspection. Almost all of the appliances and electronics in hour homes are brand new. And each home completely remodeled in middle of 2011.

We try hard to make your experience here as pleasant as possible.

We highly encourage you to plan your trip and stay here wisely. Due to specific nature of vacation renal homes, we cannot provide a refund if you decide to leave early. Unless, we are able to rent the same home for these specific dates to another guest. Yes, all of our homes are friendly to Children, Senior Citizens, and people with disabilities. The home with the Pool (desert hot springs pool villa). The pool is deep. Children under 10 should not be allowed outside without adult supervision.

All of our homes are single story, and none have steps at entrance.

Yes, as long as no guests are staying at that particular date. We may be able to arrange a viewing to make sure the home will fit all of your needs and requirements before booking.

The demand for our vacation rental home varies on the season and dates. If you are flexible with your travel and booking dates, special concessions on price may be provided for dates that have lower demand.

Usually we have more flexibility on pricing on last minute reservations, when we have availability for these dates.
